Twelve Gates is an independent project by Issac Dearing that began in the East Texas town of Lufkin in 2007. With a mix of a little Metal, Goth, and Industrial, Twelve Gates has an undeniable uniqueness with each song different from the next in style, sound and strong lyrics. The songs are written from inspirations of religion, addiction, love, and inner demons. Issac has also collaborated with his brother, Fred Limbston, on a few tracks and helps deliver the uniqueness of Twelve Gates’ sound with a melodic voice and catchy guitar riffs over Issac’s heavy tones and eerie screams. With standout tracks like “Purgatory & Shame,” the music of Twelve Gates appeals to metal fans and non-metal fans alike.
